Hello! I’m Alex, one of SSM’s local hosts and managers.

I grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and UCF. I have always had a love for the arts, new experiences, and pushing boundaries. After college, I worked several years as a Stage Manager for Cirque du Soleil both in Orlando, FL at Walt Disney World’s “La Nouba” and on the South American tour of “Corteo.” My time in South America led to many adventures and traveling to exotic places. Fun fact: in Brazil they call short-term rentals ‘pousadas’ (Poo-Sa-Da).

I returned to Jacksonville in 2014 to officially place roots in my hometown and now serve Silver Street Management as a part-time Property Manager.

I’m here to ensure you have an amazing stay, and love offering guests recommendations on the hidden gems of Jacksonville: the up-and-coming neighborhoods to explore, the genuine street-fare of your favorite cuisine, unique murals & city-art to find, and the perfect place to relax with your pooch. I have two furry kids of my own: a pitbull mix named Duckee and a golden retriever named Max. I love seeing pictures of guest’s furry friends so if you’re traveling with dogs, make sure to snap a photo to share with me!
